LIST OFINGREDIENTS
Aqua, Jojoba Oil, Azelamidopropyl Dimethyl Amine, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Hydrolysed Yeast Protein, Fomes Officinalis (Mushroom) Extract, Pyridoxine, Niacinamide, Lecithin, Panthenol, Allantoin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, C12-15 Alkane, Plankton Extract, Threonine, Biotin, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Triethanolamine.
INGREDIENTSEXPLAINED
Azelamidopropyl Dimethyl Amine
Azelamidopropyl Dimethyl Amine accelerates skin repair and healing. It modulates the phases of skin repair – inflammation, proliferation and extracellular matrix remodelling – and accelerates the skin epithelialization process to restore healthy skin.
It significantly stimulates the secretion of growth factors via different pathways that stimulate the keratinocytes in the epidermis and the fibroblasts in the dermis. This leads to improved repair of damaged and weakened skin.
DNA sequencing is significantly increased, which promotes growth factor secretion, which in turn leads to faster tissue repair and wound healing. Cell survival is improved and genetic toxicity is reduced.
It promotes the thickening of the outer layer of the skin (stratum corneum) and the repair of the skin barrier.
It lowers the 5-α reductase enzyme and therefore Dihydrotestosterone, which is responsible for acne. It is anti-bacterial and non-comedogenic (will not cause congestion and acne).
It also has an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces Reactive Oxygen Species (free radicals) and inflammatory cytokines (the mediators of inflammation). This leads to reduced erythema (redness).
Plankton Extract
Plankton extract is expressed by blue-green algae and contains the enzyme, Photolyase. Photolyase is a light-activated repair system that repairs damaged DNA, called DNA dimers. Photolyase enzymes have a natural affinity for DNA dimers. They absorb visible light and cause a direct reversal of DNA damage through photo-reactivation.
Photolyase enables the skin to endure more than three times the duration of UV exposure compared to untreated skin, without showing signs of sun damage. This is due to Photolyase’s ability to repair DNA whilst DNA damage is occurring.
Photolyase significantly reduces MMP-1-levels (a marker of collagen destruction) in UVB-exposed skin – an indication that Photolyase repairs UV-exposed DNA.
Hydrolysed Yeast Protein
Hydrolysed Yeast Protein contains a unique blend of flavonoids, sugars, vitamins and amino acids. It brightens the skin by means of essential amino acids and peptides, which inhibit melanin (pigment) production.
Collagen production is stimulated when sugars, contained in Hydrolysed Yeast Protein, are converted into acids. These acids also function as anti-oxidants. It stimulates Langerhans cells (immune cells in the skin) that help to protect the skin from environmental damage.
Fomes Officinalis Mushroom
The active agent from Fomes Officinalis mushroom has astringent, and moisturising effects on the skin, producing an improvement of the skin’s tone and firmness. It also reduces excessive sebum secretion.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide has strong anti-inflammatory properties and consequently soothes sensitive, inflamed skin, and protects the skin against oxidative stress, such as UV exposure, pollution, and toxins. Its anti-inflammatory properties also assist in preventing and treating hyperpigmentation.
It stimulates the production of keratin and collagen, which offers firmness to the skin and reduces the signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles.
Niacinamide helps to maintain the ceramide lipid bi-layer (natural skin barrier), which acts as a barrier to retain moisture.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil has anti-bacterial, as well as antioxidant properties, that can prevent acne breakouts in oily skin. Jojoba oil seals the skin with a protective barrier to prevent it from losing moisture.
Jojoba oil further regulates sebum production. When Jojoba oil is applied to the skin, it leads to moisturisation and soothing of the skin and the skin’s own sebum production is suppressed.
Panthenol
Panthenol (a form of Vit B5) attracts and retains moisture in the skin, by assisting in the repair and maintenance of the skin barrier function.
Pyridoxine
Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) appears to reduce sebum levels and limit the area of oily spots.
Biotin
Biotin (Vitamin B7) is needed for the metabolism of fatty acids and protects cells from damage and water loss, helping to keep your skin moist and plump. Vitamin B7-deficiency leads to brittle, dry hair, brittle nails, and dry, flaky skin, or in severe cases, red and scaly skin.
Biotin is also anti-inflammatory and protects against acne, fungal infections, and rashes.
Lecithin
Lecithin contains a high concentration of fatty acids that creates a barrier on the skin that effectively seals moisture in, while keeping other harmful environmental elements out. It therefore softens and soothes the skin.
Allantoin
Allantoin moisturises the skin to prevent dryness and irritation. Its hydrating effect on the skin can help to regulate oil production in acne-prone skin.
It acts as an exfoliant, shedding dead skin cells, which can reduce dullness and improve skin texture.
Allantoin has soothing and calming properties.
Threonine
Threonine is an essential amino acid and a building block for collagen and elastin. It therefore provides anti-aging and repairing benefits to the skin.
Dicaprylyl Carbonate and Sodium Hyaluronate
Dicaprylyl Carbonate and Sodium Hyaluronate improve hydration of the skin.

RESILIENCEREPAIRING CREAM
Vivanté Resilience Repairing Cream offers cell regeneration and repair to sensitive, inflamed or damaged skin, caused by stressors, such as pollutants and reactive oxygen species (free radicals). Resilience Repairing Cream protects young, immature skin and prevents premature ageing.

DNA forms the heart of all cells. Disruption of DNA leads to major consequences, such as loss of or impaired production of certain essential molecules, inflammation, the release of damaging enzymes and ageing of tissues. A study by Moriwaki in 1996 found an age-related decline in DNA-repair capacity of 0,6% per year in skin fibroblasts between the 1st and 10th decade of life.

Citric Acid
Citric Acid has protective antioxidant properties. It also acts as an exfoliant for the upper layers of dead skin cells. This helps to clear pores, even skin tone and brighten and smoothe the skin. It assists in maintaining an optimum pH level, which is essential for normal skin barrier function. This improves skin hydration and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Lecithin
Lecithin contains a high concentration of fatty acids that creates a barrier on the skin. This seals in moisture, softens and soothes the skin, while keeping other harmful environmental elements out.

INGREDIENTSEXPLAINED
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a synthetic peptide, made from a protein found in Botulinum toxin. It reduces the ability of muscles to contract and therefore reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin
Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin has anti-oxidant and ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species)-scavenging properties and increases cell viability. It has moisture-retaining properties and promotes skin hydration.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 consists of a combination of 3 amino acids (tripeptide) and palmitic acid. It has the capacity to increase the production of dermal and epidermal components, such as collagen I, II, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid, and laminin 5, which plays a role in the construction of the epithelial basement membrane, cell adhesion and cell growth and differentiation. These effects delay the ageing process and densify the skin to smooth out wrinkles.
Retinol Palmitate
Retinol palmitate increases cell turnover from 28 to 14-16 days. This leads to increased epidermal proliferation and thicker, fuller skin. It gently exfoliates and sheds pigmentation that brightens the skin. Retinol palmitate stimulates collagen and elastin production and helps to improve the appearance of ageing skin. This includes improved skin texture, elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles. It inhibits collagenase, the enzyme that breaks down collagen. By preventing collagen degradation, the skin will appear firmer, with reduced lines and wrinkles. Retinol palmitate functions as an antioxidant to limit oxidative damage, caused by free radicals.
Lilium Candidum Flower Extract
Lilium candidum flower extract stimulates cell renewal and has anti-inflammatory properties that help fight redness. It can reduce the volume of under-eye bags and the colour of dark circles around the eyes.
Pfaffia Paniculata Root Extract
Pfaffia Paniculata Root Extract (Suma root extract) contains vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which soothe sensitive skin.
Ptychopetalum Olacoides Bark/Stem Extract
Ptychopetalum Olacoides Bark/Stem Extract can improve pigmentation around the eyes by 90%.
Phytomenadione
Phytomenadione reduces vascular conditions, such as dark under-eye circles and redness.
Squalane
Squalane, the synthetic form of natural oil that exists in the epidermis, Squalene, mimics natural sebum and can therefore inhibit the skin’s sebum production. This action helps to regulate oil production. Squalane hydrates the skin, which reduces the appearance of pores and leaves the skin supple. Because Squalane is chemically equivalent to a naturally occurring substance in the skin, it is lightweight and non-comedogenic, and offers moisturisation without greasiness or heaviness.
It penetrates pores and improves skin at a cellular level. Squalane boosts collagen production, which leads to firmer skin.
Squalane has powerful antioxidant qualities and can improve the appearance of redness, caused by inflammation. It alleviates irritation and discomfort and, therefore, calms the skin. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it can soothe a variety of inflammatory skin problems, including inflammatory acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and rosacea.
Squalane’s antioxidant properties also assist in fading the appearance of dark spots and brightening the complexion of the skin.
The antioxidants in Squalane scavenge free radicals, that cause damage, mutations and accelerated ageing. Squalane, therefore, protects the skin against ageing and cancer.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil seals the skin with a protective barrier. This leads to moisturisation and soothing of the skin. Jojoba oil also has anti-oxidant properties that reduce inflammation and prevent premature ageing.
