INGREDIENTSEXPLAINED
L-Carnitine
L-Carnitine transports fatty acids into the mitochondria, thus allowing cells to break down fat and be energised.
L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine promotes the proliferation and regeneration of gut cells and regulates tight junction proteins, which seal and restore the gut lining. It suppresses inflammatory pathways, and protects cells against cell death.
Curcumin
Curcumin has anti-inflammatory properties and can therefore slow down the development and progression of chronic inflammatory conditions, such as auto-immune diseases and cancers. Curcumin, however, is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. To increase its bioavailability, supplementation needs to be combined with black pepper, of which the active ingredient is piperine. Piperine is a natural substance that enhances the absorption of curcumin by 2000%.
Bromelain
Bromelain helps to break down and absorb proteins. It can reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines that damage the lining of the intestines and also decrease inflammation within the intestines. Bromelain assists with the healing processes within the intestines.
Ginger
Ginger enhances gastric emptying, which can be beneficial for symptoms of indigestion. It contains the active substance, Gingerol, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. This anti-inflammatory effect, together with its ability to reduce blood insulin levels, promote digestion, increase metabolism, and promote a feeling of fullness, contributes to its ability to influence weight loss.
Inulin
Inulin is a dietary fiber and prebiotic. The human body doesn’t make digestive enzymes that can break down inulin. Instead of being digested in the stomach and small intestine, it travels through the digestive system to the large intestine where it feeds intestinal bacteria. Beneficial intestinal bacteria support intestinal health and immunity, and reduce the risk of certain inflammatory illnesses, auto-immune diseases and cancers.
L –Arginine, L-Proline, L-Glycine and Threonine
L –Arginine, L-Proline, L-Glycine and Threonine are involved in the formation and regeneration of connective tissue, and the healing of the intestinal lining.
Malic Acid
Malic Acid is a precursor to citrate, a key ingredient for producing ATP (energy) in the Citric Acid cycle. When malic acid is attached to a mineral—potassium, magnesium, or calcium—it facilitates absorption of that mineral through the gut and into the bloodstream, which promotes energy production.
Psyllium Husk
Psyllium Husk is a bulk-forming laxative, that retains water within the intestines and assists with softer, more regular bowel movements. Psyllium is a prebiotic — a substance needed for healthy colonies of probiotics to grow in the gut, which is essential to reduce inflammation in the gut and promote a healthy immune system.
Thyme
Thyme has antimicrobial properties, which help reduce bacteria and fungi in food and can improve gut microbes and overall intestinal health. Thyme increases the protective mucus layers of the stomach, which protect the stomach lining against acid. It also reduces inflammatory cytokines, which reduce inflammation in the body.
Vitamin B1
Vitamin B1 – Thiamine, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B7 as all other B-vitamins, enable the body to convert carbohydrates to energy and are necessary for the growth, development and functioning of cells. They regulate the formation of DNA and ensure that the genetic information in each cell functions normally and replicates correctly.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 – Cyanocobalamine reduces Homocysteine levels, which reduces inflammation within the body. This leads to improved intestinal and overall health.
Vitamin D3
Vitamin D3 has strong anti-inflammatory properties and can reduce inflammation within the body. This reduces the risk of an array of inflammatory disorders, including diabetes, high cholesterol, auto-immune diseases and cancers.
Zinc
Zinc is a co-factor in multiple enzymatic reactions in the body. It is involved in the production of DNA and proteins and the growth and repair of cells and tissues. It also plays an important role in supporting a healthy immune system.
SIDEEFFECTS
